Missing Dependencies and Faulty Content

On this page, I will cover two types of problem: missing dependencies, and faulty content.

Missing Dependencies

Assets with missing dependencies will be marked with the following icon:

To find out what the dependencies are, right-click the asset and click View Dependencies.

If an asset has a ? next to it, this means that the asset is not on the Download Station, and will require a Google or forum search.

If it has a  icon next to it, click View in Main List, then follow the instructions on the Downloading Assets page.

Faulty Content

If a piece of content has the icon , it's faulty.

To see why it is faulty, right-click it and click View Errors (and Warnings). On the Trainz Discussion Forums (http://forums.auran.com/trainz/forum.php) visit the TS2010 forum (requires login) - one of the stickies there can solve the majority of the errors.

If the icon is , this means that a dependency is faulty. To find out which asset is faulty, right click an asset with this icon, then click View Dependencies. Once the Dependencies box appears, click View in Main List. You may have to do this a few times to find the faulty asset.
